Check: China just built a 250-acre solar farm shaped like a giant panda

China just built in a giant solar panel in their 250-Acre farms that looks like a panda.

There are three types of solar panel , A Monocrystalline silicon , polycrystalline , and thin film . 

The first two types are commonly used for residential area . The thin film is much less effective because its performs better in low light situations than the monocrystalline and polycrystalline.

The solar panda was proposed by Panda Green Energy the largest shareholder in China Merchants New Energy.

They used both darker monocrystalline silicon and lighter thin film cells to form a visual effect of darker and lighter solar panels.

China planned to build more of solar panda-shaped plants with the coming years.
