Pokemon Go once again dominates the news headlines this week, as Raids become available to everyone level 5 and above.
But Raids aren't the only thing rumoured to be in development for the Pokemon Go anniversary.
Niantic is reportedly about to add Shiny Pikachu to Pokemon Go ahead of the iPhone and Android game’s first birthday, which will be celebrated on July 6.
SlashGear claims the Shiny Pikachu will be available within the next WEEK.
The site suggests that the Shiny Pikachu has been in the game’s code for some time, but Niantic has been waiting to launch it.
And if it's anything like the Shiny Magikarp, Pikachu will be very hard to come across.
Pokemon Go's new Raids update really has made the difference to Niantic.
Raids are timed in-game events that give Trainers the chance to team up with other players to defeat powerful bosses.
Successfully defeating a Raid boss gives you a chance of capturing the Pocket Monster and is also a way to earn rare Candy.
And they've clearly been popular, because Pokemon Go has suddenly found itself soaring up the iOS App Store charts.
Having previously fallen out of the top 20, Pokemon Go is currently the seventh highest grossing app.
It's also climbing up the free apps chart, jumping up to 52, having previously charted outside the top 100.
