Satellite - A satellite is a machine that moves around the earth. Example earth is a satellite because it orbits around the sun.What are benefits of satellite.
- Allows them(scientist/government) to see large area of the earth.
- Can easily collect data inside and outside earth.
- The signal of t.v , text messages or phone calls sent upwards to satellite. Then instantly, the satellite can send them back down to different location of the Earth.
How many Satellites are in space?
- Approximately there are 3000 satellite orbiting the earth. 50 percent of them are property of United States
Is there garbage in space?
- YES! actually there are 500,000 bits and pieces between 1 and 10 cm in size of spent boosters, dead satellites and misplaced gloves.
