Free Public Internet Access Law (R . A . 10929 ) . Approve , Sign by President Duterte

President Rodrigo Duterte signed a new law that every Filipino has given an authorized access to public internet, Free Public Internet Access Law (R.A. 10929)


The purpose of this new law is to give an opportunity for those who can't afford Internet plan and to promote knowledge-building so that citizens can participate in our rising technology .

The coverage of this Free Public Internet Access program are:

  • National and local goverment offices
  • Public basic education institutions
  • State universities and colleges
  • Technical Education and Skills Development Authority ( TESDA )
  • Public hospitals, health centers and rural health units
  • Public parks, Plazas, Libraries and barangay reading centers
  • Public airports and seaports
  • Public transport terminals


The minimum speed per user are 2Mbps.
Sadly watching or viewing of pornographic websites are not allowed.
