When PC users want to see more data displayed on their computer screens, they would either get a bigger monitor or get a secondary monitor to expand the virtual desktops.
However, a new super ultrawide monitor is being offered to PC users as an alternative to buying multiple screens.
The monitor is designated the CHG90 and it has an aspect ratio of 32:9, measuring 49 inches wide. For comparison, a regular HD monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio while an ultrawide monitor has 21:9, reports Business Insider
The CHG90 is part of Samsung’s line of gaming monitors. It has quick response times and comes with AMD’s FreeSync 2 technology.
With its curved design, gamers will be able to fully immerse themselves in what they’re playing, especially for first-person shooters. The monitor also has a split-screen function which allows it to serve as two 1080p HD monitors placed side-by-side. Using the CHG90 software, users may be able to split the screen up to three times, allowing them up to three screens, each functioning like a separate monitor.
