MANILA, Philippines — Despite rumors of disqualification or resignation of at least one Binibining Pilipinas 2017 queen crowned last Monday, Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa firmly believes that this new batch of Binibini beauties can continue the Philippines’ winning streak in international pageants.
In a recent interview with Philstar.com during the launch of Samsung S8, Kylie said the new Binibinis are “a new batch of incredible girls” and she is positive that the girls will perform well in competitions abroad.
These bets, according to Kylie, make her proud, adding that she is sure they will make the country proud as well.
Last Monday, Rachel Peters of Camarines Sur was hailed to represent the country in Miss Universe, followed by Mariel De Leon for Miss International, Chanel Olive Thomas for Miss Supranational, Elizabeth Clenci for Miss Grand International, Katarina Rodriguez for Intercontinental, and Nelda Ibe for Miss Globe.
