Free Wifi For The Filipinos

Good news for all the people of Philippines. JP Soriano of GMA news reported on " Unang balita " that Government will spend P3 Billion for the 10-years internet project to be set up 100,000 sites.


He said that only less three of every 10 homes have internet access. That is why the Philippines rank 64th among 138 countries in terms of internet access at home.

( DCIT ) Usec. Jorge Sarmiento said that wi-fi sites will be set up in public places like park, Local government plaza, health centers, pier. He said that they aiming to cover all municipalities in the country.
